Privacy Issues and FAQs
When you register a domain name you have to specify correct contact information
which is recorded in WHOIS database. According to ICANN policies all your private information
stored in WHOIS database is instantly made public. So your contact data becomes available
for collecting by spammers, telemarketers and any other persons.
DNProtect.NET will provide alternate contact information for the listing of your
domain name registration(s) in the public WHOIS database. So, instead of your contact
information, ours will be made public.
You retain the FULL BENEFITS of domain registration. You can:
- cancel, sell, or renew your domain
- set-up the name servers for, and resolve disputes involving your domain name
We don't own domain names protected via our Domain Privacy Service - you do.
